Elevator Services for Dallas and Houston Since 1972

Founded in 1972 by Allen and Frank, A & F Elevator was the first independent elevator company in the DFW community. Since 1972, A & F Elevator has thrived to be the first and best independent elevator company in Texas. After Jerry Allen returned from the war, he joined Dover Elevator. He was an excellent mechanic but hated the large company feel. He met Frank will working for Dover. They both did not like the big company feel and decided to start a company together. So in the summer of 1972, they both started the company and signed their first maintenance customer. Over the years, A & F Elevator company grew and went from 2 employees to over 50; however, they kept the small company feeling. Over the years, Jerry and Frank stepped down from A & F Elevator, and a new group stepped up. Under the new group, A & F Elevator has flourished to be one of the best independent elevator companies in Texas in both the private and government sector.
